Doro: Answer Calls Without Touching a Telephone

Nov 06, 2009 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- LONDON: The Doro ProSound HS1910 is the first wireless telephony-headset, which can be plugged directly into an analogue socket and used to answer incoming calls without a telephone. This functionality is unique to this headset and an industry first.

The device can also be used for easy one-touch answering of calls on all DECT phones. Weighing just 27.5 grams and with a 150m range from its base station this is a multi-use headset and is ideal for people who like to multi-task whilst speaking on the phone - whether at work or home. Ergonomic design makes it a comfortable option for the user and able to be worn for long periods of time without causing strain.

Doro has purposely positioned this product at a competitive price for its class in order to make it widely accessible. This pricing strategy aims to drive new market opportunities for electronics retailers and re-sellers operating within both the consumer and business sectors.

Chris Millington, MD of Doro UK said: "This is the best value-for-money wireless headset option currently available. Our competitive pricing means that a high-quality DECT headset is now widely accessible to domestic and business users alike. Traditionally high pricing has been an obstacle for this level of quality. With more people working from home this is hugely attractive - and even more so as businesses prepare for the impact of seasonal illness on their workforce." The headset is available from leading electronics re-sellers and retailers with a recommended retail price of around GBP95.00+VAT and GBP110.00+VAT for the version including a handset lifter.

  • Understanding the Voice of the Customer: Today's contact centers involve a sea of information that must be captured, processed, and distributed on a daily basis. Effective use of this information enables companies to remain competitive in an increasingly aggressive and customer centric marketplace. An overwhelming percentage of the information that circulates in a contact center's audio recordings, documents, web pages, and emails is unstructured in that it resides outside of a normal structured database and cannot be managed efficiently. These unstructured items contain valuable information, yet this information historically has been difficult to organize, categorize, and access.
