Constant Contact Opens 2009 With More Than 250,000 Email Marketing Customers

WALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)--

(NasdaqGM: CTCT), a leading provider of email marketing and online surveys for small organizations, today announced that in December of 2008 it surpassed 250,000 customers, marking a significant company milestone. This accomplishment rounded out an impressive year of company achievements and customer success and positions Constant Contact to help even more small businesses achieve their communication goals in 2009.

Constant Contact's 250,000th customer is WEST Builders, Inc., a mid-sized construction company located in Pasadena, California. In celebration of this important achievement, the company will award WEST Builders with a free lifetime subscription to its email marketing services.

Company Expansion - In an effort to enhance support for its email marketing and online survey customers, as well as its employees, Constant Contact expanded its executive team with the addition of John J. Walsh, Jr. as senior vice president of engineering and operations and Robert D. Nicoson as chief human resources officer. The company also increased its customer support staff, added three new regional development directors, established a second call center and broke ground on a new dedicated office facility in Loveland, Colorado that will open in 2009.
