DIGITALK: Eurotrade moves services to DIGITALK

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
RDATE:07102008

Milton Keynes -- Eurotrade Enterprises Ltd. has deployed a range of
customised and service-ready applications on the DIGITALK Multiservice
Platform, including Number Translation and Hosted IP PBX services. The
migration to a single platform comes from the need to consolidate
existing TDM services onto a reliable and scalable infrastructure, and
to enable a range of IP services to address changing market demands.

Eurotrade's CEO, Ajit Kohli, "It was fast becoming clear to us that our
existing platform - from another vendor - was simply not going to be
able to cope with either additional traffic growth or provide the sort
of IP-friendly environment essential for the next stage of our
company's expansion."

Eurotrade's ethnic and regional SME customers will be able to realise
the benefits that an integrated and unified communications strategy
could bring them, especially where it involves linking call-centre,
sales and back office functions across different countries, time-zones
and even devices.

Kohli adds "On top of this, constantly increasing traffic and the
introduction of new services required a new and more disciplined
approach to rating and billing issues if we were to avoid fraud or
leakage - especially in the increasingly important area of real-time
customer billing. With DIGITALK's strengths in this area, we're now
confident of maximising our own revenues, but at minimum cost to
ourselves."

Mark Ashdown, Sales and marketing Director for DIGITALK concludes
"DIGITALK has a proven track record in delivering hybrid TDM/IP
communications solutions and were able to offer Eurotrade a migration
strategy that was seamless to existing customers and places Eurotrade
is a strong position going forward."

  • Understanding the Voice of the Customer: Today's contact centers involve a sea of information that must be captured, processed, and distributed on a daily basis. Effective use of this information enables companies to remain competitive in an increasingly aggressive and customer centric marketplace. An overwhelming percentage of the information that circulates in a contact center's audio recordings, documents, web pages, and emails is unstructured in that it resides outside of a normal structured database and cannot be managed efficiently. These unstructured items contain valuable information, yet this information historically has been difficult to organize, categorize, and access.
