LCC Appoints New Board Member, Ted L. Hoffman

MCLEAN, Va. --(Business Wire)-- LCC International, Inc., (NASDAQ:LCCI), a leader in advanced wireless services and solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ted L. Hoffman to the Company's Board of Directors effective July 31, 2008.

Mr. Hoffman is retired from Verizon Wireless where he served as Vice President of Technology Development. He was with Verizon Wireless, and its predecessor Bell Atlantic Mobile, since July, 1993. Mr. Hoffman's career spanned many evolutions of the wireless network while at Verizon. Responsible for all technical products and service development, Mr. Hoffman directed several network transitions including moving the network from analog to a digital infrastructure, building out the data infrastructure and managing the launch of music and video services, enhanced messaging services and location based services.
