Cerience Debuts Native PDF Viewer for BlackBerry

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ORLANDO, FL, May 13 / MARKET WIRE/ --

Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2008 --
Cerience Corporation today announced RepliGo? Reader, the first native
PDF viewing application for BlackBerry? smartphones from Research In
Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM) (TSX: RIM). RepliGo Reader offers
desktop-like viewing of native PDF files that are stored on the
handset or downloaded, allowing users to read documents on their
BlackBerry smartphone even when wireless coverage is not available. A
preview version of RepliGo Reader will be demonstrated at booth #601
during the Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2008.

RepliGo Reader is the latest addition to the award-winning RepliGo
product line which includes RepliGo Server for enterprises and RepliGo
Professional for consumers. Cerience has leveraged several of its key
technologies into the product in order to increase usability,
including on-device document recognition, which reformats pages for
fast and easy reading on a small screen. The application also
integrates with the upcoming features of the BlackBerry? wireless
platform, allowing native PDF email attachments to be downloaded and
viewed at the user's convenience.

"PDF is the defacto standard for distributing information and is
overwhelmingly the most popular format with our customers," said Dave
Formanek, Vice President of Product Development at Cerience. "RepliGo
Reader is a great complement to our product line. For the first time
ever, users can take native PDF documents with them on their
BlackBerry smartphone and read them wherever they travel."

Pricing and Availability

RepliGo Reader is currently in beta and available on an
invitation-only basis. Those interested in participating in the beta
can sign up at www.cerience.com/products/reader. The product is

An overwhelming percentage of the information that circulates in a contact center's audio recordings, documents, web pages, and emails is unstructured in that it resides outside of a normal structured database and cannot be managed efficiently. These unstructured items contain valuable information, yet this information historically has been difficult to organize, categorize, and access.
