AV Comparatives gives highest Certification to eScan

Hello ,

AV Comparatives gives highest Certification to eScan

MicroWorld’s eScan has done it again. The comprehensive security solution that combines AntiVirus, AntiSpam and Content Security has again been certified “Advanced+” - the highest certification in on-demand detection tests conducted by AV Comparatives. AV Comparatives is a very reputed and respected Malware test lab based in Austria.

The tests were conducted to evaluate the on-demand detection performance of 16 AntiVirus solutions in the market. Based on the results, eScan was awarded the highest certification—Advanced+, which reaffirms that the program has the highest level of detection of new malicious programs. eScan has managed this by using a combination of proactive and reactive technologies in identifying malicious code.

“The latest AV Comparatives certification of eScan is another proof of the evolution of eScan as a Total Digital Security solution equipped to fight all existing and evolving threats. It also stands testimony to the effectiveness of our technologies and accuracy of Virus detection. We also realize that the award puts the onus on us to continue to maintain and exceed the quality standards of our product.” said Govind Rammurthy, CEO of MicroWorld.

As a security product that protects computers and networks against a gamut of threats, eScan is powered by many innovative technologies. MicroWorld’s unique MWL technology enables eScan to intercept and block incoming threats at the transport layer of connectivity, thus placing it ahead of almost other AntiVirus solutions which work at the Application level.

eScan uses advanced Behavioral Detection algorithms to block emerging threats and virus mutants, while it’s also empowered with technologies that repair changes made by Viruses in the system registry. Likewise, the Non Intrusive Learning Patterns used in eScan is a revolutionary method in Spam Fighting.

The new version of eScan Corporate has some powerful features that give better control and more advanced means to the System Administrator to protect organizational networks. The management Console provides options for installation, administration control, deployment of updates, upgrades, and license keys, enforcement of security policies, covering rogue machines and more. The Application Control feature can be used for controlling and blocking all unproductive and harmful programs in an organization’s network .
