R1Soft Announces Sponsorship of WebhostingDay 2008

HOUSTON --(Business Wire)-- R1Soft (http://www.r1soft.com), a developer of Continuous Data Protection(R) products for Linux and Windows, announced today it is a Gold Partner of WebhostingDay 2008, the largest European conference and exhibition focused exclusively on Web hosting. The company will promote its data protection tools at the show, held this year at the Phantasialand Event Center in Bruehl, Germany.

R1Soft will have a booth in the exhibit hall, where it will promote the importance of its data protection software and offer promotional giveaways to conference attendees.

R1Soft will also hold an interactive workshop, hosted by David Wartell, Vice President and founder of R1Soft, a division of BBS Technologies. The session, titled "Introduction to Continuous Data Protection and the Future of the Data Centre," will discuss the challenges posed by rapid data growth and the decreasing tolerance for data loss. Wartell will show hosting service providers how they can add a profitable new cash stream by providing their customers with an automated data protection platform. At the workshop, Wartell will also announce R1Soft's new data center automation technology for Linux servers, Lights Out Data Center(TM) for Linux.

"Since it began nearly four years ago, WebhostingDay has become the leading European business event for the Web hosting industry. With more than a third of our existing customers located in Europe, this event provides an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with users and resellers of our software," said Wartell. "One of our primary goals is to further demonstrate how the European hosting market can make nightly backup windows a thing of the past, as well as show existing and prospective hosting service providers how they can generate additional revenue with R1Soft's data protection platform."

R1Soft CDP Server technology remains unmatched in the industry, providing cross platform data protection for Linux and Windows servers. In addition, the solution is the only near-Continuous Data Protection system offering fast periodic block level backups that significantly reduce the impact of backup windows on mission critical servers.
