Market Review: Review in Progress for Frontier Airlines

(M2 PressWIRE Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
RDATE:21012008

Friday's markets didn't respond well to President Bush's stimulus plan.
The president's 145 billion dollar plan wasn't enough for Wall Street
according to Kim Caughey, equity research analyst at Fort Pitt Capital
Group. The Dow Jones plummeted 79.09 points in afternoon trading
despite being up more than 180 points in the morning. This follows the
drastic plunge of 306 posted on Thursday.

Others, such as Washington Mutual, reported steep losses for their
fourth quarters as the banking industry tries to fix shrinking
portfolios. More economists are beginning to believe that the feared
recession has already begun.

Looking into the Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) performance for
January 18, 2008 we can notice that the American Market reacted to the
current market conditions. Late afternoon on Friday January 18, 2008
the stock was down slightly on lower than average trading volume.

Our research resources have been aimed towards the US large caps and
the various prospective companies therein Frontier Airlines was among
those that we have been closely examining due to their recent news and
trading patterns.

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) announced on January 18, 2008 that
they will receive the Martin Luther King, Jr. Business Social
Responsibility Award: a high honor bestowed upon individual business
people, corporations and non-profit organizations who have contributed
to the Denver community.

Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of Denver-based
Frontier Airlines. Currently in its 14th year of operations, Frontier
Airlines is the second-largest jet service carrier at Denver
International Airport, employing approximately 6,000 aviation
professionals. With 60 aircraft and one of the youngest Airbus fleets
in North America, Frontier offers 24 channels of DIRECTV service in
every seatback along with a comfortable all coach configuration. In
conjunction with its regional jet fleet, operated by Republic Airlines,
and a fleet of 8 Bombardier Q-400 aircraft operated by Lynx Aviation (a
subsidiary of Frontier Airlines Holdings, Inc.), Frontier offers routes
linking its Denver hub to 63 destinations, including 53 U.S. cities in
32 states spanning the nation from coast to coast; seven cities in
Mexico; two cities in Canada and one in Costa Rica. In November 2006,
Frontier and AirTran announced a first-of-its-kind integrated marketing
partnership that offers travelers the ability to reach more than 80
destinations across four countries with low fares, aboard two of the
youngest fleets in the industry.
