Larry Stanfel Joins New Global Telecom as Vice President of VoIP Technology & Operations

GOLDEN, Colo., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- New Global Telecom (NGT), the leading provider of wholesale hosted Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) services in the U.S. market, is pleased to announce the addition of Larry Stanfel as the company's Vice President of VoIP Technology and Operations.

Mr. Stanfel has had an extensive career in the telecom industry, with focus on network technologies and architecture design involving a host of advanced protocol services, including VoIP. Following receipt of BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, he served in senior management positions at Bellcore, Pacific Bell and SBC Communications. For the past five-years, Mr. Stanfel has held Vice President level positions at GoBeam and Covad Communications, with responsibility for engineering, operations and development. He helped launch GoBeam's VoIP network, later working to integrate it with Covad's network and also lead expansion of service delivery on a national scale.
